If a repair order has been issued without a precise description of the defect, we
will be entitled to examine the article and/or to postpone execution of the order
until the matter has been discussed with the customer.
If particular defects are specified and further defects are then found during repair,
we will be entitled but not obliged to rectify these defects without a specific order
if this is required to retain the functionality of the helmet and the cost is
negligible in relation to the costs of the original repair order. Otherwise, the
approval of the customer is required.
6.
Warranty claims will not be accepted if:
• the defect is due to improper use or excessive strain
• the defect is due to an improper modification to the article by the customer
• the product was not handled in accordance with our recommendation
• the defect is due to wear and tear
