17. Remove the left and right side Apillar trim panels (1)..
18. Using a trim stick or equivalent, disengage the retain
ing tabs that secure the rear of the instrument panel
top cover (1) to the instrument panel (2).
19. Pull the instrument panel top cover (1) rearward to dis
engage the retaining tabs at the front of the cover and
remove the cover.
20. Remove the six fasteners (1) securing the instrument
panel top pad to the structure.
