more than 2 turns to avoid backing

telescopes, or pull the nose pad
down to raise your telescopes.
c.
Tighten the screw.
5.
Check the visual field
a.
Sit in your working position and focus
on the operating site.
b. The field of view should form an ellipse
and be in focus.
c.
If the field of view is not clear,
reposition the XV1 on your face by
adjusting the nose pads, temple arms,
and head strap.
d. For HiRes™ Plus Telescopes Only
Fine tune the focus by closing one eye
and gently turning the opposite
telescope housing to bring the
operating site into focus. Repeat the
procedure for the other telescope.
CAUTION:
DO NOT MAKE LARGE ADJUSTMENTS.
The telescopes are factory-set to focus at
the ordered working distance.
Note: Depending on the magnification level of your telescopes you could experience some disorientation. This is
normal. Some professionals require a breaking-in period with a new loupe. If you experience difficulty, gradually
increase the length of daily use. Generally a break-in period lasts no more than two to three weeks.
