Assembly and Installation

Remove all components from packaging and ensure all
components are present. Refer to Figures 2 and 3
Exploded View for reference to components.
1. Assemble the Tank Adapter (26) (2" NPT thread) to
the tank opening.
2. Insert Adapter (27) into the Nut (25).
3. Apply provided thread sealant tape to this connec-
tion point.
4. Tighten the 1" NPT (internal) thread of the Adapter
(27) into the pump inlet (1"NPT).
5. Measure depth of the tank then assemble the rigid
tube and telescopic tube in order to reach desired
depth leaving at 0.5" between the tube and tank bot-
tom.
NOTE: If the tank is less than 12.5 in. deep, cut the
Rigid Extension Tube to desired length allowing at
least 0.5 in. between the tube and the bottom of the
tank.
NOTE: If Telescopic Tube and Rigid Extension
Tube are both used, apply the provided thread seal-
ant tape at the connection point.
6. Assemble the Rigid Extension Tube (28) and/or
Telescopic Tube (29) into Adapter (27). Use the pro-
vided thread sealant tape for this connection point.
7. Attach the assembled tube to the pump and insert
into tank. Orient the pump to the desired position
with respect to the tank.
8. Tighten the Nut (25) to the Tank Adapter (26).
9. Assemble the Nozzle Hanger (16) to the pump using
the two bolts provided.
10. Torque to 22in-lb.
NOTE: Over torque of bolts can result in damage to
casting.
11. Apply provided thread sealant tape to threads of the
1"NPT Street Elbow (9).
12. Insert and tighten the 1"NPT Street Elbow (9) into
the outlet of the pump body.
13. Connect and tighten the Delivery Hose (30) to the
Street Elbow (9).
14. Use the provided thread sealant tape for this connec-
tion point.
15. Connect and tighten the Nozzle (31) to the Delivery
Hose (30).
16. Use the provided thread sealant tape for this connec-
tion point.
17. Hang Nozzle (31) on the Nozzle Hanger (16).

Installing a 30 micron or iner ilter be-
tween the pump and the control nozzle
is recommended. Not using a ilter
can allow debris to cause damage to a
vehicle's fuel tank, fuel line, fuel pump, injectors, and
similar components.
Ensure the On/Off Lever (19) is in the Off (down) posi-
tion prior to proceeding to Electrical Wiring Instruc-
tions.
Electrical Wiring Instructions
Do not attempt to wire the pump using
wire smaller than 12AWG. Never wire
into the vehicle's wiring system that
uses wires smaller than 12AWG wire,
failure to comply will result in damage to vehicle's elec-
trical system and risk of ire.
Do not use any power supple other than
12VDC (Direct Current) power sup-
ply. Using a power source other than
12VDC can damage the pump.
Always use a 40 Amp fuse and fuse holder. Mount the
fuse holder as close to the positive (+) side of the power
source as possible.
Do not operate pump or dispense fuel prior to properly
grounding pump to vehicle's chassis
Grounding the Pump
This pump requires electrical grounding to the vehicle's
chassis.
1. Strip one end of a green 12AWG wire and fasten a
ring terminal to it a 0.20 in. diameter screw.
2. Insert Screw with Lock Washer (17) into the ring
terminal and tighten to the pump casting.
NOTE: Avoid orienting the ring terminal and wire
in the direction of the pump Switch Lever (19) and
Nozzle (31).
3. Route the new wire to a proper grounding location,
preferably a steel component.
NOTE: Do not ground to a fuel tank. This may
jeopardize the integrity of the fuel tank and/or cause
the tank to leak.
