CAMERA CONFIGURATION
1. Camera startup
Turn on the camera by changing the ON/SETUP/OFF switch to the ON position.
Under this mode, the camera enters motion detection/monitoring mode. The screen will
not light up. If the camera's default settings meet your needs, then you can mount the
camera directly to the intended location. The default settings can be found on page 7.
2. Configure camera settings
Move the ON/SETUP/OFF switch to the SETUP position. This mode allows you to
configure the camera as needed. The screen will light up. Press the MENU key to enter
the menu. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the menu and press OK to confirm.
Find the menu structure on page 7, and on page 12 the detailed menu.
Notes:
Read the manual and menu descriptions carefully to understand each setting.
Test each step and check how it works.
A setting that is not familiar to you can lead to a different and unknown way of working.
You can return to the factory settings and resume setup if the camera behaves differently
after certain user settings.
After completing the settings, switch back to the ON position.
3. Connect to the network
When you switch to the SETUP position, the screen lights up and the camera automatically
searches for signal and checks for an SD card.
If only the signal bar appears on the screen, it means the device has automatically
connected to the network. Simply enter the phone number and e-mail address you want
to receive allarms on in case of motion detection.
If a pop-up message appears on the screen "SIM Auto Match failed..." go to 4G - SIM
Auto Match. Select Manual. The select 4G-Manual setup menu and add the APN of the
GSM operator. The camera will automatically connect to the network after rebooting.
Nota: The camera can send images to 4 phones and 4 email addresses. By default, the
camera sends images to the phone via MMS, and photo/video by email via SMTP (data).
If you want to change the default settings, go to the menu.
WARNING: Most GSM SIM cards (subscription or prepaid) have MMS disabled. The
MMS function brings additional costs. Check the costs for the MMS service and ask
for activation and settings to be made by your mobile operator if you want to use this
feature.
