HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Screw the 3 handle spokes into the hub and hand
tighten.
ese spokes are located in the front foam
packaging. NOTE: Do not use this handle to
move the safe.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
You must rst install the ba ery which is located in
the ont protective styrofoam.
NOTE: When changing the ba ery, always hold
the ba ery connecting cap while disconnecting or
a aching the ba ery. Do not pull on the wires.
Doing this could cause the power supply to become
disconnected from the lock.
is safe uses one 9V alkaline ba ery. Under normal
use, ba ery will last about 1 year.
When the ba ery is low and you press a bu on on
the keypad, a red light will come on warning you
that the ba ery is low.
To replace the ba ery, remove the cover by pressing
the tab and turning the cover as shown in the
illustration below. Replace the old ba ery and
screw the cover back in place.

ELECTRONIC LOCK
Before you can enter any numbers, touch any key on
the keypad to activate it.

A er installing the ba ery, to open the electronic
lock the rst time, rst press any key to activate the
keypad, then press the following numbers/symbols
on the electronic keypad in this order: 1 - 5 - 9 - #.
ese numbers are preset.
NOTE: You should change the entry code as soon
as possible a er opening the safe to insure proper
security.
A er you have entered the factory code, you will
need to turn the handle clockwise to open the door.
You will have 5 seconds to turn the handle before the
locking mechanism is reactivated.
NOTE:
e red reset bu on located on the
inside of the door, is covered with a removable
red cap. When you use the red reset bu on
while se ing your own combination, remove
the cap to access the bu on.
Replace the cap securely over the reset bu on
a er se ing your combination. Failure to do
so will compromise the safety and security of
the safe.
