The product contains a replaceable li-ion rechargeable battery pack. Do not throw the

product into a fire!
The product may only be charged in closed, dry and spacious rooms, away from com-

bustible materials and liquids. Disregard can result in burns and fires.
Never open, crush or heat a rechargeable battery or set it on fire.

Do not use the product in potentially explosive areas or in the rain and do not expose
§
it to excessive heat.
Do not use the product if it appears to be damaged
§
Never submerge the product in water or other liquids. Never touch a device that is connect-
§
ed to the mains if it has fallen into water. In this case, remove the mains plug immediately.
Failure to observe the safety instructions can result in dangerous injuries to
persons or damage to the device!

FIRST USE | CHARGING
Charge the rechargeable battery pack fully before first use. When storing over an extended
period of time, charge at least 2x per year during storage in order to prevent the recharge-
able battery pack deep-discharging.
Charging is carried out via the mains adapter supplied with the main product (Art. no.
1600-0358). Plug the charging cable into the charging socket and plug the mains adapter
into the mains outlet.
LED RECHARGEABLE BATTERY INDICATOR
The charge status or remaining capacity is indicated by the status LEDs on the rechargea-
ble battery pack. Press the power button to check the energy remaining.
