4.2. Assembly and Connection of User's Interfaces
• BlueFace - EnerFace and Tacto Flexa for Surface
The Tacto thermostat and the BlueFace for surface assembly consist of three parts:
fastening support, cover and touch screen.
Follow these steps to install and attach it correctly:
1) Fix the fastening support to the wall with two screws. For BlueFace, as it is wiring,
route the wires through the round hole.
2) Separate the cover from the touch screen. To open this, twist a coin in the notch in the
underside of the cover – do not use pointed objects.
3) Place two batteries AAA type (by default the thermostat is shipped with the batteries
included) for the Flexa thermostat.
4) Insert the cover on the two top hinges and give it a short, sharp push so that the tabs
of the fixing panel are inserted in the cover (Fig. 7).
• Embedded BlueFace - EnerFace
To install the Recessed BlueFace it is necessary to have previously installed a 100x100
recessed mechanism box and ducting for the communications cable. To complete the
installation:
1) Connect the cable to the terminal of the BlueFace, respecting the colour coding.
2) Remove the trim. Once the connections have been made in the BlueFace, place it on
the mechanisms box and attach it with the supplied screws and washers.
3) Having attached the BlueFace to the mechanism box, replace the trim.
• Connection BlueFace - EnerFace
This connection must be done on the connector for the External Bus (see Fig. 1 and Fig.
2, connector 15) respecting colours indicated on the connector.

Measuring Kit
4.3.1. HVAC Communication Gateway and Measuring Kit
The Gateway for Communications with the Air Conditioning Unit comes with its own
installation documentation. Go through it to complete the installation.
4.3.2. EnerFace
In the Flexa EnerFace System the following elements are essential (see Fig. 9):
• A BlueFace interface.
• A Gateway for Communications with the Air Conditioning Unit.
• A Measuring Kit. This kit is made up of a clamp-on current meter and a signal adapter.
Take the following into account for the connection:
• The BlueFace interface is connected and installed as indicated in section 4.2.
• Both the clamp-on current meter
to the power supply cable of the external unit. It is advisable to place them in the
electrical switchboard from which the power supply cables for the external unit run.
• The current meter must be clamped on the phase wire with the arrow pointing to the
machine (see Fig.10).
