Special accessories
Infrared remote control (Prod. no. 36 206) for changing the
factory settings and selecting special functions.
Operation
The infrared electronics emit invisible, pulsed light. If this light
is reflected by a user for a minimum of 10 s (= minimum delay
time) and is then received again by the electronic system, the
solenoid valve is activated approx. 1 second after the user
moves away. The solenoid valve opens and the bowl is
flushed.
The range of sensitivity is dependent upon the reflective
properties of the object.
Installation
Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area of the structural
shell protection.
Final installation
1. Cut off structural shell protection (A) flush with the wall, see
Fig. [1].
2. Open isolating valve (B) and flush pipe for at least 5 s, then
close isolating valve (B) again, see Fig. [2].
3. Detach the protective film from the adhesive strip on the rear
of battery housing (C). Bond battery housing (C) into the wall
connection box and press into place, see Fig. [3a] or [3b].
4. Remove flushing aid (E) and screw in solenoid valve (F) by
hand, see Fig. [4].
5. Align frame (G) and fasten using screws (H), see Fig. [5].
3
6. Connect solenoid valve (F) and battery housing (C) to
electronics (J) observing correct polarity of the plug-in
connector, see Fig. [6].
7. Open isolating valve (B), see Fig. [2].
8. Engage plate (K) at bottom of frame (G) and snap into
position at bottom by gently pushing upwards, see Fig. [7].
9. Fasten plate (K) using locking screw (K1).

Setting mode
The flow volume can be checked and changed in setting mode
45cm
(see Setting the flow volume).
2 l (factory setting)
The detection zone of the fitting can be checked. The indicator
Adjustable 1 - 7 l
lamp in the sensor system of the fitting illuminates in setting
Every 2 min (max. 14x)
mode when the detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
(factory setting: activated)
approaching user.
Flushing is immediately triggered when the detection zone is
IP 56
exited again. The minimum delay time of 10 s is not available
0.5 bar
in setting mode.
max. 10 bar
To activate setting mode, proceed as follows:
1 - 5 bar
1. Remove locking screw (K1), see Fig. [8].
16 bar
2. Remove plate (K) upwards from frame (G).
max. 45 °C
3. Disconnect the power supply to the electronics and
DN 15
reconnect after 30 s, see Fig. [9].
G ½
Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 min.
Setting the flow volume
The factory-set flow volume is approx. 2 litres at a flow
pressure of 3 bar.
The flow volume can be changed as follows:
1. Activate setting mode (see above).
2. Hold hand at a distance of approx. 5 - 10cm in front of the
sensor system in the fitting.
The indicator lamp in the sensor system of the fitting flashes
quickly.
3. After approx. 5 s, the indicator lamp extinguishes
automatically.
4. Remove hand from the detection zone (at least 60cm).
5. Again hold hand at a distance of approx. 5 - 10cm in front of
the sensor system.
The flow volumes are indicated via the indicator lamp in the
sensor system by groups of flashing signals separated by a
pause.
6. Flow volumes and display:
The number of flashing signals of the consecutive groups
corresponds to the following flow volumes:
1 = flow volume 1 litre
Pause
2 = flow volume 2 litres (factory setting)
Pause
3 = flow volume 3 litres
Pause
...
7 = flow volume 7 litres
Pause
After the group with 7 flashing signals, the routine starts
from the beginning
1 = flow volume 1 litre
...
7. Selecting the flow volume
The flow volume is selected by removing the hand from the
detection zone (at least 60cm) in the pause after a group of
flashing signals.
Once the hand is removed, the fitting immediately flushes
with the selected flow volume (the corresponding flashing
signals are displayed again during flushing).
