Issue
The red power leD is
not illuminated
The green GsM leD
light is not illuminated
Powertxt Duo® hasn't
responded to my
command
Powertxt Duo® won't
respond to any
commands
I have rebooted my
connected device/s but
the yellow leDs aren't
coming back on

Possible Reason
Powertxt Duo® has no mains
power supply
Powertxt Duo® can't find a
network signal or the sIM card
can't be identified
as the product works with the
mobile networks very infrequently messages can
be lost or not delivered
1) The mobile signal strength in the area is not
strong enough for this product to work
2) Mains power has been lost to the area where
Powertxt Duo® is located
3) The sIM is not activated or live
4) an incorrect command is being sent
5) The user sending the command is not the
master user or an additional user
6) The mobile (GsM) network is down in the area
where Powertxt Duo® is located
7) The product has not been reset after the
manufacturers testing
When your devices are rebooted they will turn off
immediately and take approximately 60 -90 seconds
to turn back on
Solution
1) Check that mains power is available on the required connection
2) Check cable is inserted fully
1) Check the sIM card is inserted correctly & clean the gold contacts on the
back of the sIM Card
2) Check the sIM card is activated and live (making sure no PIn code is
activate on the sIM itself)
note – Occasionally you can get faulty sIM cards, check with your sIM provider
If Powertxt Duo® has received the message/command then the required
action will have been carried out however the return/reply message to the
master user may have been lost or not delivered. In this case please do not
send the command again (unless it was a status command), please send
Powertxt Duo® a status request command. This will show you the status
and whether Powertxt Duo® has actioned your request.
1) Try a different mobile network provider or try Powertxt Duo® in a
different location
2) Check with your energy supplier regarding this power outage or
check power to the connection
3) Check the sIM is activated and live
4) Check the command is correct and try again (refer to the user manual)
5) Only the master user and additional users can send commands to
Powertxt Duo®, all other messages are ignored
6) Check with your operator regarding coverage in that area
7) Please email [email protected] or call for assistance
Please just wait for your device/s to turn back on, this takes approximately
60-90 seconds but they will turn back on
