Installation
Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area of the structural
shell protection.
Cut off inspection chamber flush with tiles, see fold-out page II,
Fig. [1].
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806).
Connect fitting, see Figs. [2] to [6].
Open hot and cold water supply and check that
connections are watertight.
Temperature adjustment, see Fig. [7]
Only in conjunction with wall-mounting box 36 336.
The thermostatic cartridge is set to 38 °C at the factory.
The temperature is regulated by turning adjusting screw.
Installing the plate, see Fig. [8].
Operation
The infrared electronics emit invisible, pulsed light.
The sensor system is adjusted so that water flow is initiated
when the hands approach the vicinity of the spout. When the
hands are withdrawn from the vicinity of the spout, water flow
is stopped after 1 s.
The range of the sensor system is dependent upon the
reflective properties of the detected object.
Automatic safety shut-off
After 60 s of continuous detection of an object, the infrared
electronics automatically stop the water flow.
Maintenance
• Shut off water supply.
• Disconnect voltage supply.
• Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
