To ensure the degree of protection against splashes of water,
the alarm outlet cable clamp is sealed by a plug in the factory;
this should only be removed when carrying out the connection.
Test the various functions, checking for perfect hydraulic
tightness of all the pipes and connections.
Installing the panel and the glass door
22) Apply the sealant to the openings within the grooves
(
under the panel, cutting it to fit; then thread the panel behind
the roof and hook it to the pins present on the frame (detail 5).
23) Bring the metal dowel, present on the inner cornice
(
(see Chapter "Installing the cornice") so that it rests against the
base of this cornice.
Insert the long metal dowel, ensuring that it is positioned as in-
dicated and place a seam of silicone between the dowel and the
cornice.
ATTENTION: check that the glass side displaying the
label faces inwards towards the inside of the shower
enclosure.
24) Thread the glass to the hinges in the upper part of
(
the cornice and then to those in the lower part of the cornice;
allow the glass to slide within the vertical; element, right up to
the edge.
25) Insert the support profile to the upper part of the
(
cornice, remove the roof and screw the profile to the cornice, as
indicated; then, re-lower the roof.
Insert the second support profile to the lower part of the cornice.
26) Assemble the hinge components and fix the door.
(
(detail 2) Check that the hinge through-hole is always posi-
tioned above, whilst the threaded hole is at the bottom.
Also check that the magnetic profile "M" faces inwards to-
wards the inside of the shower enclosure.
27) Remove the glass door (both right and left versions
(
can be installed) and attach the vertical sealant, starting from
the bottom (detail 1).
(details 2-3-4-5) Remove excess sealant from top and bottom
and attach the door.
The magnetic profile "M" must always face inwards towards
the inside of the shower enclosure.
28) Check the door closes perfectly; if necessary, adjust
(
the hinge screws.
Accessories
29) Insert the sealant to the following areas:
(
- glass profile (detail 1);
- glass panel profile (detail 2);
- between the panel and cornice (detail 3);
- between the cornice and glass (detail 4).
The sealant must cover the entire relevant area.
(detail 5) Insert the same sealant along the three cornice sides.
We recommend testing its positioning before applying
or cutting the sealant.
30) Place a seam of silicone inside the shower enclosure,
(
in order to seal the contact areas between the glass, panel, cor-
nice and tray.
31) Assemble the shower and the relative pipe, using the
(
filter strainer and the sealant.
Position the cover on the tray drain and remove the tape from
the seating, lowering it.
Insert the spout (C) in the indicated opening and fix the cover.
Where present, position the duckboard (ensuring the hole (F) al-
lowing for movement is opposite the drain) and the seating on top
of the shower tray.
Before handing the appliance over to the user, it is advisable, with
the user present, to demonstrate how all the functions work; for de-
tails, see the use and maintenance manual.
