PREPARATION OF HOT
AND COLD WATER SYSTEM
The pipes for hot and cold water supply must have a diameter
that is adequate to the functions of the model to be installed,
and in any case not smaller than 14 mm.
It is necessary to check the hot and cold water pressure and –
if required – to install a suitable booster pump to provide
equal presure of no less than 1.5 bar to ensure adequate per-
formance of the product.
The outlets for connections to the taps must project from the
wall or floor and end with a 1/2" male attachment (see tech-
nical sheet, ref. 5). It may also be necessary to fit a 90° elbow,
oriented as shown on the relevant technical sheet. During
installation, these outlets must be connected to the mixer tap
unit inlets, using two high-capacity flexible hoses (intern.
diameter 10 mm), with 1/2" male-female attachments. In "J-
Sha Active Twin, J-Twin Premium, J-Uno Twin, Amea Twin Pre-
mium, Twin Deck, Twin Tower, Twin Tower Corner, Aulica Twin,
Aulica Compact Twin, Harpa Twin 150, 160, 170, Flexa Double,
Flexa Twin, Flexa Tower, Flexa Tower Compact e Flexa Suite"
models, the flexible pipes are supplied as standard equipment.
For a regular operation of the appliance, you must ensure that
the flow rate and pressure of the hot and cold water are cor-
rect, and that the types of pipes indicated in the previous
paragraph and relevant technical sheet are installed.
Allowance must be made, for instance, for the fact that the
"Double J-Dream" model has a high water consumption dur-
ing the turbomassage: 16 litres per minute.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Jacuzzi ™ products for hydromassage are safe appliances con-
structed to comply with the EN 60335.2.60 regulations and are
approved by the Italian Quality Trademark Institute (IMQ) and
other European institutes.
All the products are tested during production to guarantee the
customer's safety.
The installation must be carried out by qualified persons who
must be able to guarantee the compliance with the current
national regulations. They must also be authorised to issue the
confirmation that the installation has been carried out correctly.

with whirlpool are class "I" appliances and must therefore be
securely located and connected in a permanent manner, with-
out intermediate junctions, to the electrical supply and the
protection system (earthing plant).
THE ELECTRICAL AND EARTHING PLANT FOR THE APPLIANCE
MUST BE EFFICIENT AND IN CONFORMITY WITH THE LEGAL
REQUIREMENTS AND THE SPECIFIC NATIONAL REGULATIONS.

The connection to the electricity supply requires the installa-
tion of an omnipolar isolation switch which must be located
in a suitable position to ensure that the bathroom safety regu-
lations are respected.
This omnipolar switch must guarantee that the contacts
remain open at least 3 mm and be suitable for voltages of
220-240 V and a current of up to 16 A.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS, THE SWITCH AND
OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICES MUST BE LOCATED IN AN AREA
WHICH CANNOT BE REACHED BY THE PERSON WHO IS IN THE
WHIRLPOOL BATH.
The installation of electrical devices and other equipment
(sockets, switches, etc.) in the bathroom must be in strict
accordance with the legal requirements and regulations for
each country. In particular, no electrical installations are to be
made within the area surrounding the appliance in a range of
60 cm horizontally and 225 cm vertically.
The connection to the electrical plant mounted in the shower
enclosure unit must be made with a sheathed cable having
characteristics not less than H 05 VV-F 3x2.5 mm

A 0.03A DIFFERENTIAL SWITCH.
Jacuzzi shower enclosures and combined models are fitted

with a terminal, located on the frame and labelled with the
symbol , for the equipotential connection of the surrounding
metal components, as required by regulations EN 60335.2.60.
