Fastening or replacing a grinding
accessory in the wheel arbor
(figure 6).
Hold the spindle in place using an open-end
wrench (size 17 mm) and unscrew the collet
using another open-end wrench
(size 13 mm).
Insert the wheel arbor into the collet.
Note: The maximal allowable protruding shaft
length of the wheel arbor is 5/16 in (8 mm).
Insert the desired tool and tighten the collet
again using the open-end wrench.
Mount the grinding accessory and the disc
onto the wheel arbor.
Lock the collet with the open-end wrench
(size 13 mm) and tighten the hexagon nut
with the open-end wrench (size 17 mm).
Connecting to the power supply.
The power tool is provided ex works without
a plug.
Recommendation: As a protective measure
against overload, equip the power tool with a
matching FEIN motor-protection plug.
The plug is to be installed by a

qualified electrician.
Before starting operation,

check the rotation direction of
the output shaft without a grinding accessory
mounted, and have it corrected if required.
The rotation direction is marked on the
power tool with an arrow.

reliable operation of the power tool.
