VI MOUNTING THE VALVE
a)
Apply XC950 silicone adhesive on the thread of
the valve seat (1.1) (Never use Epoxy adhesive
as it may damage the gasket) to ensure sealing
between the external thread of the valve seat and
the internal thread of the socket or of the insert
(3.1). Then use the 5 mm hex wrench (3) to
re-assemble the valve seat (1.1) fitted with its flat
gasket (2). Take care that the flat gasket be
compressed enough
.
Flexible socket : place the insert (3.1) that is fitted
with its gasket (3.3) (see c) chapter V) as
a compensation because the socket cannot be
threaded.
Screw the valve plug (1.2) on the valve seat (1.1)

VII CLEANING
The 1S162 valve should be cleaned at regular
intervals with warm water.
Method :
Unscrew the valve plug (1.2)
a)
Carefully remove the sealing membrane (1.23)
b)
from the cap (1.21) with a non-cutting tool.
Carefully clean all the components with water.
Keep the flap (1.22) pressed while cleaning air
passages.
c)
Re-assemble the membrane (1.23), taking care
to position it in the direction shown on the
diagram.
d)
Screw the valve plug (1.2) on the valve seat (1.1)
VIII RECYCLING
The 1S162 valve includes parts in plastics, silicone and aluminium. Each of these items must be recycled according to the laws in
force.

Remove the assembly from the

f) On the seat valve (1.1), cut the extra
thread (length X) with a hacksaw (4).
Trim carefully and remove all the
chips.
