4. Installation on Emerson Fans Having
Two-Piece Die-Cast Switch Housing
4.1
Disconnect Electrical Power to the Branch Circuit at the
Circuit Breaker or Main Fuse Box before attempting to
install the Ceiling Fan Light Fixture.
4.2
Remove the Two Cover Screws and Cover from the
Switch Housing below Ceiling Fan (Figure 13).
Retain the Two Screws for future use in Step 4.6.
4.3
Carefully pull down the Switch Housing White and Blue
Wires and remove Wire Connectors (Figure 14).
Retain Wire Connectors for future use in Step 4.5.

Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To avoid
possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is turned
off at the main fuse box before wiring. All wiring
must be in accordance with National and Local codes
and the ceiling fan must be properly grounded as a
precaution against possible electrical shock.
