INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y
comprobar si se observa algún componente daña-
do, en cuyo caso se debe avisar rápidamente al dis-
tribuidor.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamen-
te, este manual de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del
aparato y deben estar disponibles a todos los usua-
rios del equipo.
4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando con
el servicio técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN!
NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA MÁQUINA PARA RE-
PARAR QUE NO ESTÉ DEBIDAMENTE LIMPIA Y
DESINFECTADA.
6) Toda modificación, eliminación o falta de manteni-
miento de cualquier dispositivo de la máquina,
transgrede la directiva de utilización 89/655/CEE y
el fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños
que pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con fluidos que puedan des-
prender vapores o formar mezclas explosivas o in-
flamables.
INSTALACIÓN
Antes de conectar a la red, se debe comprobar que la
tensión sea la misma a la que está preparado el apara-
to.
En la parte frontal se halla el interruptor para la puesta
en marcha de la lámpara ultravioleta.
Debido a la intensa radiación ultravioleta de onda cor-
ta, hay que tener cuidado de protegerse los ojos y la
piel contra la radiación directa. Para este fin, el aparato
está provisto de un microrruptor que desconecta la lám-
para al abrir la tapa del esterilizador.
Los rayos ultravioleta son irradiados por una lámpara
germicida de 8W. ó 15W. según modelo y con una lon-
gitud de onda de 2.537 Angstroms.
DURACIÓN DE LA ESTERILIZACIÓN:
Para instrumental odontológico, clínico, cápsulas de
Petri, contaminaciones del tipo Estafilococos,
Estreptococos, Bacilotífico, etc... una irradiación de 5
minutos es suficiente. Para contaminaciones del tipo
esporas de B. Subtilis, de Peniclum Glaucum, de B.
ácido resistente Phlei, se obtiene la esterilización a los
15 minutos de irradiación.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1) Handle the parcel with care. Unpack and check
that the contents coincide with the packing-list.
If any part is damaged or missing, please advise
the distributor immediately.
2) Do not install or use the equipment without first
reading this handbook.
3) This handbook must always be attached to the
equipment and it must be available for all users.
4) If you have any doubts or enquiries, please con-
tact your supplier or J.P. Selecta's technical serv-
ice.
5) IMPORTANT!
J.P. SELECTA WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY AP-
PARATUS TO BE REPAIRED IF IT IS NOT
DULY CLEANED.
6) If any modification, elimination or lack of mainte-
nance of any device of the equipment by the user
transgresses the directive 89/655/CEE , the
manufacturer is not responsible for the damage
that can occur.
7) Do not use the apparatus with liquids which can
give off vapours capable of making explosive
mixtures.
INSTALLATION
Before connecting the apparatus into mains, make
sure that the voltage indicated on the plate at the
back of the apparatus corresponds to the mains
voltage.
On the frontal part is placed the main switch with
indicator lamp which starts up the ultraviolet lamp.
Due to the intense short wave ultraviolet radiation,
take care to protect eyes and skin from direct
radiation. For this purpose, the apparatus is provided
with a microswitch which disconnects the lamp on
opening the sterilizer cover.
The ultraviolet rays are radiated by a germical lamp
of 15W or 8W depending on model and with a wave-
length of 2.537 Angstroms.
STERILIZATION TIME:
For clinical and odontological instruments, Petri
capsules,
Staphylococcus,
Bacillotific, contaminations, etc. five minutes radiation
is sufficient. For B. Subtilis, Peniclum Glaucum, Phlei
resistant acid, spores type contamination sterilization
is obtained in 15 minutes of radiation.
