– Loosen the lock nut 4 by inserting an appropriate tool into
an opening of the lock nut and turning the lock nut in the di-
rection of the arrow a (left thread).
– Unscrew the angled drive head 2 in arrow direction b until
it can be removed. Unscrew the lock nut 4 from the motor
housing 20 in arrow direction a.
– Place the shaft 22 into the extension 21 matching the nut-
runner and then onto the drive shaft in the motor housing
20, and firmly screw the extension onto the motor hous-
ing. Screw the lock nut 4 onto the extension in arrow direc-
tion c.
– Insert the shaft 22 in the extension into the gearbox of the
angle nutrunner head 2 and screw the angle nutrunner
head on again turning in arrow direction b. Lock the angle
nutrunner head by screwing the lock nut 4 in arrow direc-
tion c.
Changing Application Tools on the Screw Head
with External Square Drive (see figure E)
Inserting
– Press in the pin on the drive square of the tool holder 1,
e. g. using a small screwdriver, and slide the tool bit 23
over the drive square. Pay attention that the pin engages in
the recess of the tool bit.
Removing
– Press in the pin in the recess of the tool bit 23 and pull the
tool bit out of the tool holder 1.
Changing Application Tools on the Screw Head
with Internal Hexagon (see figure F)
Inserting
– Insert the tool bit 23 into the internal hex socket of the tool
holder 1 until it can be felt to engage.
Removing
– Pull the tool bit 23 off of the tool holder 1 with the aid of pli-
ers, if necessary.
Changing Application Tools on the Head with
Quick-change Chuck (see figure G)
Inserting
Use only insertion tools with fitting end pieces
(1/4" hexagonal).
– Pull the sleeve of quick-change chuck 24 to the front and
hold.
– Insert tool bit 23 into tool holder 1 and release the quick-
change chuck.
Removing
– Pull the sleeve of quick-change chuck 24 to the front and
hold.
– Remove tool bit 23 from tool holder 1 and release the
quick-change chuck.

Operation
Starting Operation
The pneumatic tool works optimally at a working pressure of
6.3 bar (91 psi), measured at the air inlet when the pneumat-
ic tool is switched on.
Reversing the rotational direction
0 607 451 60./... 453 62. (see figure H1)
– Right rotation: Do not press the rotational direction
switch 10 or release the pressed rotational direction
switch again.
– Left rotation: Press the rotational direction switch 10.
Turn the rotational direction switch 10 to lock its position.
0 607 452 6.. (see figure H2)
– Right rotation: To inserts screws, turn the rotational di-
rection switch 10 in the direction indicated by the arrow to
the left until it stops.
– Left rotation: To loosen or remove screws, turn the rota-
tional direction switch 10 in the direction indicated by the
arrow to the right until it stops.
Operate the rotational direction switch 10 only when
the pneumatic tool is not in use.
0 607 457 60. (see figure H3)
– Right rotation: Turn the rotational direction switch 10 in
the direction of the arrow R until it stops.
– Left rotation: Turn the rotational direction switch 10 in
the direction of the arrow L until it stops.
Starting and Stopping
General Information
Note: When the pneumatic tool does not start, for example af-
ter a longer rest period, disconnect the air supply, and turn
the motor by the tool holder 1 several times through. This re-
moves the adhesive forces.
When the air supply is interrupted or the operating pressure is
reduced, switch the pneumatic tool off and check the operat-
ing pressure. Switch the tool on again when the operating
pressure is optimal.
To save energy, only switch the pneumatic tool on when you
are using it.

Type of Clutch
In the right rotation (inserting screws / tightening nuts), the
pneumatic tools have a torque-dependent shut-off clutch
with a wide adjusting range. The clutch disengages when the
set torque is reached.
In the left rotation (loosening screws or nuts) the pneumatic
tools have a torque-dependent safety clutch with a wide ad-
justing range. The clutch disengages when the set torque is
reached.
