Lemon Ice cream
Ingredients:
Melt the corn flour, sugar and grated lemon peel into a small saucepan with water. Place on the
hob at a medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is creamy and blended.
Remove from the heat once the mixture has blended and add the previously beaten egg yolks;
continue to stir so the mixture does not curdle. Place the mixture in a bain-marie (a water bath)
for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove from the heat, add the lemon juice and mix, then let the mixture cool down.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and gently add them to the previous mixture, mix gently to avoid
loss of volume but make sure it is well blended.
Pour the mixture into the ice cream container and place it in the fixed container in the machine.
Add the mixing blade, the lid and the motor head.
Press the POWER button, set the TIMER to 40 minutes and press the START/STOP button to
begin.
1.- Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected.
2.- Do not use aggressive cleaning products or metallic sponges that may scratch the stainless
steel surfaces when cleaning. Make sure to dry all of the elements well before reassembling
it.
3.- Remember that the motor unit can not be submerged in water. Clean it with a moist rag,
making sure to dry it after cleaning.
4.- The ice cream container can not be washed in a dishwasher, wash by hand without using
metallic wools or chlorinated chemicals or bleaches.
5.- Only use original spare parts; the use of parts supplied by other manufacturers may
permanently damage the machine.
6.- If the grinder will not be used for a long time, store it in a dry, well ventilated place away
from humidity.
150g of corn flour (corn starch)
300g of sugar
2g of salt
5g of grated lemon peel
200g of water
3 eggs
¼ a cup of lemon juice
