1.- Locate the unit at the proper counter height, in an area that is convenient for use. The
location should be level to prevent the unit or its contents from accidentally falling, and
strong enough to support the weight of the unit.
2.- Do not place anything on top of the ice cream making machine; doing so could damage ice
cream making machine or subject personnel to possible injury.
3.- When setting up the unit for operation, make sure power to the unit is off. Failure to do so
could result in personal injury.
4.- To avoid damage to the unit or injury to personnel never use the ice cream making machine
without content.
5.- Unit is not weatherproof. For safe and proper operation locate the unit indoors where the
ambient air temperature is a minimum of 70ºF (21ºC) and a maximum of 85ºF (29ºC).
6.- Do not locate the ice cream making machine in an area subject to excessive temperature or
grease from grills, fryers, etc. Excessive temperature could cause damage to the unit.
7.- Do not place ice cream making machine in an area that restrict air flow around the front or
rear of the unit.
8.- Do not tilt the ice cream machine more than 30º as you could run the risk of spilling the
product.
9.- Do not make ice cream in the fixed container; always use the removable ice cream
container.
10.- Do not fill up the ice cream container to the top as you could spill the product during
preparation. The container has a capacity of 1.4 Lt, however we recommend making no
more than 1.0 Lt of ice cream at a time.
11.- Do not add hot ingredients to the mixer; wait until they fall below a temperature of 25ºC.
Also, do not add frozen ingredients such as ice cubes or frozen fruits as these can block
the rotation of the mixing blade.
12.- If adding fruit pieces, these can only be a maximum size of 1x1x1 cm.
13.- Avoid hitting the ice cream container or using metal utensils to take the ice cream out of it.
14.- The ice cream container can not be washed in a dishwasher, wash by hand without using
metallic wools or chlorinated chemicals or bleaches.
15.- Do not remove the motor head while it is rotating; always stop the machine before
removing the motor.
16.- To avoid problems with the cold compressor, do not turn the appliance on or off if at least
5 minutes have not elapsed between start-up and shutdown.
IMPORTANT: This machine cannot be used to make iced drinks.
