3.4. REQUIRED TOOLS

The following equipment is needed to install the
PULSE 160:

• Core drill with a Ø 162 mm bit

• Sabre saw for sawing plastic

• Mounting adhesive / sealant to fi x the mounting

3.5. POSITIONING
1
The best position for the PULSE 160 is determined
in the project planning phase. Please pay atten-
tion to the minimum distances, as otherwise no
guarantee can be given that the units will function
properly.

Minimum distance between two PULSE 160 units
on the same wall

Minimum distance between two PULSE 160 units
installed on two neighbouring walls
The minimum distance to
the ceiling must not be less
than 300 mm, and to the
fl oor not less than 1000 mm.
The distance to other
building elements such as
windows, doors or other
walls should be at least 150
mm, both inside and outside.
The distance between two
units, whether horizontally
or vertically, should not be
less than 1000 mm.
When installing units on
neighbouring walls, make
sure that each unit is at least
1000 mm away from the
other wall. In addition, the
diagonal distance between
the two units must not be
less than 1400 mm.
