Test O: Short Cycling

The refrigerator cools in brief operational periods followed by re-
start process which drains power source.
If the refrigerator exhibits this symptom, contact Norcold Customer
Service (1-800-543-1219) or the OEM Cutomer Relations for the
appropriate replacement parts.
Series DE/EV0041, Series DE/EV0061, DC0061
Complete the "Diagnostic Pre-Checks."
Remove refrigerator from enclosure,
but keep a power supply connected.
Bypass the thermostat wires:
- Red with white tracer
- Red with blue tracer
Allow the unit to run for eight hours.
Did the unit
continue to restart
with brief periods
of operation
(short cycle)?
NO
Replace the cooling unit.
Replace the thermostat and
DC power cord.
YES
