• Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide. Never run the engine
in an enclosed area. Be sure to provide adequate ventilation.
• Start the engine in a place away from the people, pets, and surrounding
buildings. Be sure there are no obstacles in the working area.
NOTE:
Do not operate the backpack sprayer without sufficient amount of chemicals in
the chemical tank.
Fill 1 Liter or more chemicals into the chemical tank (see page 35).
• To prevent the use of the backpack sprayer without sufficient amount of
chemicals in the tank, as soon as the nozzle has stopped spraying chemicals,
stop the engine.
• If the amount of chemicals in the chemical tank becomes 1 Liter or less, the
pump sucks air, and will prevent spraying chemical.
• If you continue to operate the backpack sprayer without sufficient amount of
chemicals, the pump may be damaged.
1. Turn the pressure dial counterclockwise (LOW) till it stops and set it to totally-
closed state.
