TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
1. PROBLEM: Fill valve turns on/off without toilet being flushed
a. PROBLEM CAUSE: Flush valve seal gasket is dirty
SOLUTION: Inspect and clean flush valve seal gasket
2. PROBLEM: Fill valve continuously running
a. PROBLEM CAUSE: Dirty fill valve seal
SOLUTION: Shut off water supply. Open fill valve cap and
clean valve seal
b. PROBLEM CAUSE: flush valve seal gasket is dirty
SOLUTION: Inspect and clean flush valve seal gasket
3. PROBLEM: Poor Flush
a. PROBLEM CAUSE: Water supply valve is not fully open
SOLUTION: Open water supply valve
b. PROBLEM CAUSE: Water supply pressure is too low
SOLUTION: The minimum required supply pressure is 20psi.
Consult your plumber.
c. PROBLEM CAUSE: Trapway is obstructed
SOLUTION: Unclog trapway
d. PROBLEM CAUSE: Venting is obstructed
SOLUTION: Clean venting pipes
4. PROBLEM: Toilet not flushing
a. PROBLEM CAUSE: Water supply valve is closed
SOLUTION: Open water supply valve
5. PROBLEM: Push button is stuck
a. PROBLEM CAUSE: Tank lid is misaligned
SOLUTION: Align the tank lid
WARNING! DO NOT USE IN-TANK BOWL CLEANERS

products can damage fittings in the tank. Damage to the tank
fittings may cause leakage and/or property damage. TOTO

damage caused by the use of in-tank bowl cleaners.

I NS TAL LAT I ON
1. Shut off water supply. Flush
toilet;sponge remaining water from tank.
Remove old fill valve.
2. Slide threaded valve-shaft through
hole in the bottom of tank.
Note: Install valve
in the unlock
position, and lock
it after water-line
adjustment as
shown in Fig. A
Remove the white
locking-clip to unlock the fill valve.
Thread mounting nut onto exposed
shaft under the tank and tighten nut.
WARNING! DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
3. Connect water supply as shown in
Fig. B. Pipe dope is not recommended.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE NUT;
1/4 turn max after hand tightening.
4. Finally attach refill tube to valve and
clip other end to over flow pipe.
WATER LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove tamper proof key and turn upper
half of the valve counter-clockwise to unlock.
Pull up the valve and set it to desired water
level, then turn clockwise till valve snaps into
lock position.
2. Turn on water supply to fill the tank.
3. Tamper proof key is optional, and may be
used to prevent further adjustment once final
settings is achieved, Fig. D.
FILL VALVE SERVICING INSTRUCTION
1. Turn off water supply, then flush toilet.
2. Snap off blue cover
3. Gently press float arms inward and remove
float
4. While holding valve with one hand, twist
cap1/8 turn counter clockwise and remove
5. Lift out center tube as shown
6. Remove the strainer from the center tube as
shown. Clean strainer and cap by rinsing off
under faucet.
7. Carefully reassemble the valve in the reverse
order.
IMPORTANT:
Note position of cap when properly assembled
to the body. The ribs on the cap are in line with
float chamber and the refill port is aligned as
shown.

FLUSH VALVE SERVICING INSTRUCTION
1. Turn off water supply and flush the toilet.
2. Remove the tank lid and place it upside down
on a clean surface.
3. Note the position of the colored button on the
flush valve for reassembly.
4. Turn upper half of valve counter clockwise and
pull out the flush valve.
5. Remove the black rubber seal gasket and rinse
under running water to clean.
6. Place the gasket back on the flush valve
7. Install the flush valve back on the base.
8. Rotate the flush valve as needed so the colored
buttons are in their original position
9. Carefully, install the tank lid back on the tank.
10. Flush the toilet several times using each push
button to verify proper operation.
Check for leakage.
