Cleaning Instructions

To increase the useful life of the ADAM circuit components, you should inspect
all components daily and clean regularly.
WARNING:
Inspect and clean all components of the breathing circuit prior to use.
Replace any breathing circuit components that show signs of damage such as
cracks, holes or deformation.
Circuit Assembly
1. Remove headgear from the circuit assembly. Disassemble shell, pillows, swivel

and 5 / " tube.

2. Wash shell, pillows, swivel and tube (both inside and out) in warm, soapy water
(preferably with germicidal soap).
3. Rinse thoroughly and hang to air dry.
4. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning the ventilator's circuit.
CAUTION:
Do not allow water to contact or enter airflow device.
Headgear
1. Hand wash in mild detergent. Do not bleach.
2. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Hang to air dry.
Pillows
1. Clean weekly or more often as necessary using warm soapy water.
2. For disinfecting, use an aqueous activated dialdehyde-type disinfectant as
recommended by your home care provider.
