Single Patient Use
Nasal Ventialtion Circuit Assembly
The ADAM Nasal Ventilation Circuit is designed to be used with portable
ventilator's breathing circuit (Figure 1).
WARNINGS:
1. This circuit is intended for patient-assisted ventilation when treating
hypoventilation. It is not intended for life-support ventilation.
2. Perform all the manufacturer's ventilator checkout procedures prior to
connecting the patient to the ventilator.
3. Prior to applying the ADAM nasal ventilation circuit to the patient, adjust the
portable ventilator to all prescribed settings.
4. Inspect before each use to insure that there are no leaks in the ADAM circuit,
tubing or at any connections. Should leaks occur, discard and replace.
