5. After fitting the headgear, remove
and attach the circuit assembly to
the headgear by wrapping the two
short Velcro loops snugly around
the tubing and fastening securely
(Figure 5).
6. When you are ready for nasal
ventilation, put on the headgear.
Position the pillows in your nose,
being certain the oval shape of the
pillows is positioned for maximum
fit (Figure 6). Readjust if necessary
to allow proper positioning of the
pillows in both nostrils. Secure the
Velcro shell strap (Figure 7) and
adjust the tension on each end of
the strap to get a good seal in both
nostrils. You do not have to
disassemble the headgear to
remove it from your head. Simply
pull the shell and pillows gently
away from the nose and remove
the headgear like you would a hat.
