Getting started and selecting the temperature
Plug the appliance into a grounded outlet. When the refrigerator door is open, the light
•
inside comes on.
The temperature selection knob (thermostat) is located on the right wall inside the
•
refrigerator.
The "OFF" setting means: Switched Off. Turn clockwise to "1", and the appliance will
•
turn on automatically.
The "1" setting means: Highest temperature, hottest setting.
•
The "7" setting means: Lowest temperature, coldest setting.
•
To optimise food preservation, we recommend setting the thermostat to "4.5" for
•
normal, daily use.
If you want to chill fresh food or a large quantity of food quickly, choose "7" setting a
•
few hours before adding the food. Don't forget to set the thermostat back to a medium
temperature (4.5). (In general, rapid cooling should not exceed 4 hours).
When the thermostat is in position "7", you may hear the compressor running more
•
frequently.
The temperature inside the appliance is a function of several factors, such as the room
•
temperature, the quantity of food stored, the frequency of the door opening, etc.
