The heating/cooling modes are controlled by 4 shuttle
valves, which, depending on the outdoor temperature,
switch between the different modes.
The lamp on each valve
will be extinguished or lit,
depending on the heating
or cooling mode. A lit
lamp indicates that the
valve is in its output posi-
tion, i. e. it is open in the
direction labelled 1.

The above applies when switching on the installation
and in the operating mode in question.

There are signs at the sides of the valves where it can
be checked that the valve outlets point in the direc-
tions described above.
