SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This appliance is designed to be used for
domestic and similar purposes such as:
– kitchens used by employees in shops, offices
and other working environments;
– farms;
– use by guests in hotels, motels and other
residential environments;
– bed and breakfast type accommodation.
• This appliance may be used by children who
are 8 years or older and by those with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or those
lacking experience or knowledge, provided
they are correctly supervised, or if the
instructions related to the use of the appliance
have been adequately given and if the risks
involved have been understood. Children must
not play with the appliance.
• Children should not clean or maintain the
appliance without supervision.
• CAUTION: The hose contains electrical
connections:
– do not use it to suck water (for vacuum
cleaners only)

– do not submerge it in water to clean it
– the hose must be checked regularly and
must not be used if it is damaged.
• The power cord plug must be removed from
the socket before cleaning the appliance or
before undertaking maintenance operations.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person to
prevent any danger.
• When disposing of the appliance, please
refer to the "DISPOSAL OF OLD
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES" chapter at
the end of the manual.
• For the maintenance and cleaning
of your vacuum cleaner, refer to the
"MAINTENANCE" and "CLEANING"
chapters.
