Installation and regulation
of power tool elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening ele-
ments too tight to avoid damaging the
thread.
Carriage position (see fig. 1)
The power tool can be moved only when positioned
for carriage (the body pulled down and fixed). When
moved, the power tool has to be held only by carrying
handle 3, or underneath baseplate 11�
Before starting any work, position the power tool for
operation�
• Slightly press handle 7�
• Turn locking handle 21 as shown in fig. 1.
• Lift the body up smoothly�
• To position the power tool for carriage, do the
indicated operations in a reverse order�
Adjustment of the cutting depth (see fig. 2)
With the help of the bolt 23 and the lock-nut 22, adjust
the depth of cut so that the cutting disc 10 in the lower
position does not touch construction components of
the power tool (see fig. 2).
• Loosen lock-nut 22�
• Adjust the cutting depth by turning bolt 23 in or out�
• Tighten lock-nut 22�
Setting of cutting angle (see fig. 3)
• Loosen adjusting bolts 12 by means of the Allen
key 20 (see fig. 3).
• Set the required cutting angle turning adjusting stop 13�
The angle is set according to the indication of scale 24�
• Tighten adjusting bolts 12 by means of an Allen key 20�
Setting of cutting width (see fig. 4)
• Unscrew adjusting bolts 12 by means of the Allen
key 20 (see fig. 4).
• Select the required width of cut shifting the adjusting
stop 13�
• Align holes in the adjusting stop 13 with threaded
holes in the base plate 11, and tighten adjusting
bolts 12 by means of the Allen key 20�
Mounting / replacement of cutting disc (see
fig. 5-6)
After mounting of cutting disc, make a
trial run before commencing operation -
start the power tool and let it work in idle
mode for not less than 30 seconds. The
operation of cutting disc with radial or axial run-
out and causing increased vibration of the power
tool is strictly forbidden.
Wearing protective gloves is recom-
mended for mounting / replacing cutting
disc.
• Lift the body to the uppermost position�
• Lift the sliding guard cover 9 to the uppermost
position and tighten the top screw 18 (see fig. 5).
• Shift the spindle lock 8 to the right and hold it, after
that insert the Allen key 20 in the bolt 25 and turn it
in order to fix the cutting disc 10 in the fixed position.
Press and hold the spindle lock 8, unscrew the bolt 25
by means of the Allen key 20�
• Dismount from the spindle 28: clamping flange 30,
external flange 29 and cutting disc 10�
• Clean fastening elements with a soft brush and
mount on the spindle 28: cutting disc 10, external
flange 29 and clamping flange 30�
Attention: ensure that the bore diameter
of the cutting disc 10 corresponds with
the external diameter of the setting
bush 19 (see fig. 7). It is prohibited to install
cutting discs 10 without setting the bush 19. Observe
the consequence of parts installation, avoid oblique
setting of parts in the course of mounting and do
not turn over the flanges (see fig. 6).
• Press and hold the spindle lock 8, tighten the bolt 25
by means of the Allen key 20� Then release the spindle
lock 8�
• Make sure that cutting disc 10 does not touch any
elements of power tool and can rotate freely�
• Loosen the top screw 18 and move sliding guard
cover 9 in original location�
