19. Install the Door Panel
Install the Hinges
NOTE: The clean coat surface of the panel should be toward the inside of the shower.
Attach the hinge gasket to the L-shaped hinge on the side that will be facing the glass.
Position the shaft in the hole in the top of the door panel on the non-coated side of the glass with
the overhang on top of the panel.
Slide the bushing into the hole in the shower door and over the shaft on the L shaped hinge.
Align the hinge plate with the hole in the glass. The setscrew hole in the hinge plate should be
nearest the pivot side of the door panel.
Thread the #8-32 x 1/4" screw into the shaft and carefully tighten with a screwdriver. Do not
overtighten.
Repeat steps for bottom hinge.
Attach the Door Panel
Lift the door panel and align the pivot hole closest to the edge of the door side frame over the
bottom pivot pin. Lower the door.
Align the top pivot hole of the door side frame with the hole in the connector block.
Insert the top pivot pin through the connector block into the pivot hole of the door side frame.
