1. Wash your hands.
WARNING: Wear gloves when inserting the sensor into someone
other than yourself to avoid contact with patient blood. Minimal
bleeding may occur.
2. Select an insertion site.
3. Clean the insertion site with alcohol. Let the area air dry.
