14.0 - POWER TAKE-OFF
The rotation speed of the cardan shaft when working can vary from a minimum of
250 rpm to a maximum of 400 rpm.
Warning: if you exceed 540 rpm, you may cause mechanical damage to the
potato-harvester.
Warning: operate the power take-off only when the machine is positioned on
the ground.
15.0 - CENTRAL OR DECENTRALIZED COUPLING
The SP50 and SP100 potato-harvesters can be supplied with a central coupling (fig.
9) or with a decentralized coupling (fig. 10).
15.1 - The version with central coupling is recommended for small tractors with narrow
gauge (70 - 100 cm)(fig. 9).
15.2 - The version with decentralized coupling is recommended for standard gauge
tractors (120 - 150 cm)(fig. 10).
16.0 - WORKING DEPTH
Adjust the working depth by means of the adjustment screw on the tractor's third
point arm.
Shorten the arm to increase the working depth.
Extend the arm to reduce the working depth.
Avoid ploughing too deep as this will overload the machine unnecessarily with soil
and may affect correct operation. If you do not plough deep enough, on the other
hand, you may damage the tubers.
