3 Electrical connection of miniature valves
Warning
S Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electri
cal isolation of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204−1. Consider also the general requirements
for PELV circuits in accordance with IEC/DIN EN
60204−1.
3.1 Multipin connection
For controlling the valves, each valve coil is assigned to a
certain pin of the multipin plug. A valve location therefore
always occupies one address. Unused valve locations, e.g.
reserve plates, also occupy one address.
Warning
Fast−switching valves of size MH2 contain electrostati
cally sensitive components. The components will be
damaged if you touch the contact surfaces of the plug
connectors and if you do not observe the regulations
for handling electrostatically sensitive components.
