15. Position the column tilt at the full­downward position.
Leave the tilt lever (2) in the released position.
16. Remove the screws (1) attaching the lower shroud.
After removing the screws, un­clip the shrouds from
one another by applying hand pressure along the
seams where the shrouds connect on the sides.
17. Remove the lower shroud.
18. Pull rearward to disengage the retaining clips and re­
move the instrument cluster trim bezel/upper steering
column shroud (1).
19. Remove the outlet vent.
20. Using trim/fiber stick or equivalent, pull rearward to
disengage the retaining clips and remove the instru­
ment cluster hood (1).
