Impact test
The impact test has been performed with reduced drop
height, i. e. a lower level of mechanical hazard according to
the standard.
IP Protection Rating
The encoder must have at least an IP6x protection level to al-
low its use in Zone 2 (Gas) or Zone 22 (dust) (observe the
type plate).
Type of Connection
Exclusively use connectors or lines complying with standard
EN 60079-14:2014 (ATEX suitable).
Protective Cover
Protect the encoder with additional technical measures (pro-
tective housing) against impact loads.
