parameters called for under EN-ISO norm 23953 - 1/2 which calls for Climate Class 3 (+25°C; U.R.
60%).
Note:All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
8. Electrical connection (Fig. 10)
- The unit should be protected upstream using an automatic magnetothermal omnipolar cutoff switch
with appropriate characteristics and that also serves as the general circuit breaker for the line.
- Inform operators of the switch location so that it can be reached quickly in the case of an
EMERGENCY.
- The electrical system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is that indicated on the rating plate (Fig. 2)
- To guarantee normal performance, maximum voltage variation must be between +/- 6% of the
nominal value.
- Check that the power supply line has cables with an appropriate cross section, and in any case no
less than 2.5mm², that it is protected against power surges and has a grounding system that
conforms to the laws in effect.
- For power supply lines longer than 4-5m, increase the cable cross section correspondingly.
- In the case that the power supply is interrupted, check that all the electrical devices in the store are
able to start up again without tripping the power surge protection. If not, modify the system so as to
create a lag time for the start up of various devices.
The automatic magnetothermal switch should be designed so as to not open the neutral circuit
without simultaneously opening on the phases. In any case, the the opening distance for the
contacts must be at least 3mm.
Note:All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
9. Temperature control (Fig. 5)
The refrigeration temperature is controlled using the mechanical thermometer (Rif. 8) or with the
electronic control device (OPTIONAL) (Rif. 9).
Normally the controller is set in the factory during testing, but it is possible to alter programming. To do
so, please refer to the instructions given by the control device manufacturer.
Note:All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
10.Loading the unit (Fig. 5)
When loading the unit, some important rules must be observed:
- place the merchandise uniformly and in an organized way, not overloading the shelves
- place the merchandise so it does not obstruct the airway delivery openings, disturbing the
flow of refrigerated air
- leave approx. 30mm of space between the merchandise and the shelf above (Rif. 7)
- uniform placement of the merchandise, without empty areas, guarantees that the unit will perform at
its best.
- it is recommended that merchandise that has stayed longer in the unit be consumed before that which
was placed more recently (rotation of foodstuffs).
- The maximum allowable load for the shelves is 160 kg/m
2
300 kg/m
(Rif. 7)
- The shelves can be placed in 2 different positions 0°;-10° (Rif. 6)
Note:The refrigeration unit is intended to maintain the temperature of the displayed goods and
not to reduce it. Foodstuffs should only be placed inside if they are already cooled to their res-
pective conservation temperatures. For this reason, products that have been heated should not
be placed inside the unit.
ATTENTION!: Do not load the top of the unit with boxes, packages, or other things.
11.Placing shelves on the heads (Fig. 9)
- Open the aeration openings located on the back, in accordance with the position in which the shelves
will be placed.
- Place the shelves.
