• Connect the 9 V block battery to the battery clip with the correct polarity (note + and -) and insert it
into the battery compartment.

7. Getting started

CAUTION! Never exceed the max. input values stated.
Switch the multimeter on by twisting the range selector switch [3] to your chosen measurement range.
The multimeter has an auto power OFF function which works as follows:
If the multimeter is not used for approx. 15 minutes, a beep sounds. Another minute later, another
beep sounds and the device switches into sleep mode. Press any button to stop it doing so.
