• "Mode 2" – (fig. 6) Selection of this option enables auto-
matic delivery of commands to the shutter, based exclu-
sively on data read by the rear brightness sensor (the
option disables the front brightness sensor and the tem-
perature sensor).
The "mode 2" option sets the system to operate as follows:
with the shutter open and the brightness sensor exposed,
when brightness increases to exceed the upper threshold,
after five minutes the shutter lowers to the point at which
the transmitter is installed and moves back up by a few
centimetres to leave the brightness sensor exposed (par-
tial close).
Subsequently, when brightness decreases gradually to fall
below the lower threshold, the automatic command sys-
tem leaves the shutter in its current position (no Up
manoeuvre). Therefore, any shutter opening movement
must be made by the user using the manual commands.
• "Mode 4" – (fig. 7) Selection of this option enables auto-
matic delivery of commands to the shutter, based exclu-
sively on data read by the rear brightness sensor and the
temperature sensor (the option disables the front bright-
ness sensor).
The "mode 4" option sets the system to operate as follows:
with the shutter open and the brightness sensor exposed,
when brightness increases to exceed the upper threshold,
after five minutes the shutter lowers to the point at which
the transmitter is installed and moves back up by a few
centimetres to leave the brightness sensor exposed (par-
tial close).
Subsequently, when brightness decreases gradually to fall
below the lower threshold, after 15 minutes the shutter ris-
es completely (total opening).
The automatic operation mode described above remains
subordinate to the temperature value read by the dedicat-
ed sensor. Therefore:
– if the temperature exceeds the set threshold: the auto-
matic operation mode works normally;
– if the temperature is below the set threshold: the system
interrupts automatic mode and leaves the shutter in the
position it was in before the temperature fell below the
threshold value. Automatic mode is restored as soon as
the temperature rises above the set threshold.

7.1.3 - Using manual commands in Scenario "A"
The user can move the shutter manually at any time by
means of the keys p, ■, q. Interaction of manual com-
mands with automatic commands managed by the system
is as follows:
• if the user first activates an opening command and
the brightness then progressively decreases to fall below
the lower threshold, the automatic command, in these
conditions, does not move the shutter;
• if the user first activates a closing command which
darkens the brightness sensor, the automatic command
system is interrupted immediately and user intervention is
required to restore it by opening the shutter and exposing
the brightness sensor to sunlight.
General note on "Scenario A" - The product is factory-
set for installation in a scenario type "A", with automatic
command operation set to "Mode 1".
