The hard case included with you Echelon
binocular provides protection during storage and
transportation. The case has a molded foam
insert that protects the binocular from internal
movement and the rubber O-ring forms a water-
tight seal when the lid is latched preventing the
ingress of water and moisture. The case also
features an external purge valve for pressure
equalization when traveling between areas of
different altitudes. We recommend that you
place the binocular in the hard case whenever
it is not being used to protect it from falls,

scratches and the elements.

The Echelon binoculars are waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the housing from
fogging internally.
