CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERY OF THE BOOSTER
IMPORTANT: CHARGE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, AFTER EACH USE AND
EVERY 30 DAYS TO KEEP THE BOOSTER INTERNAL BATTERY FULLY CHARGED.
NEVER WAIT UNTIL THE BOOSTER IS COMPLETELY DISCHARGED BEFORE
RECHARGING.

LED Indicators

TO CHECK THE INTERNAL BATTERY'S CHARGE STATUS, MAKE SURE THE WALL
CHARGER IS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE BOOSTER, THEN PRESS THE BATTERY
STATUS BUTTON ON THE FRONT OF THE BOOSTER.
The LED lights will indicate the charge level as follows:
A red LED indicates a 50% or less charge and you should immediately recharge the
booster.
A yellow LED indicates a 50 to 75% charge. The booster may be used but should be
recharged as soon as possible.
A green LED indicates the internal battery is fully charged.
The CHARGING (red) LED indicates the booster is charging (connected to an AC
power source.) At full charge, the CHARGED (green) LED will light.

Charging the Internal Battery using the Included Wall Charger.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
7.1
Jump Starting a Vehicle Engine
A SPARK NEAR THE BATTERY MAY CAUSE A BATTERY EXPLOSION.
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A SPARK NEAR THE BATTERY:
1. Turn the vehicle's ignition OFF before making cable connections.
2. Connect the booster to the vehicle's battery as described in Section 4.
3. Turn the booster ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
4. Crank the engine. If the engine does not start within 3-8 seconds, stop cranking and
wait at least 1 minute before attempting to start the vehicle again.
(This permits the booster battery to cool down.)
5. After the engine starts, turn the booster ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
6. Disconnect the booster from the vehicle, as described in Sec. 4.7.
7. Return the battery clips to the clamp holders. Recharge the booster as soon as
possible after use.
7.2
When using the other features of the booster, always observe the following steps:
1. Ensure the battery clips are securely clipped on the clamp holders.
2. Charge the booster as soon as possible after using the feature.
