• Switch off the device after shaving, clean the parts carefully
(Chapter "Cleaning and care" on page 45) and to protect
the shaving heads 4, slide the protective cap 15 onto the
shaving attachment 5 from below.
Wet shaving (only for battery operation)
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
The hand-held device and the power unit 19 are not water-
proof. Wet shaving is only allowed when using battery power.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
For wet shaving use shaving foam or lather only; never use
shaving gel or shaving cream. This could adhere to the shav-
ing heads 4.
• Before shaving, smooth a thin layer of shaving foam on your
face.
• Shave your face as described in the chapter Dry shaving
(Rechargeable battery and mains operation).
• If shaving foam should clog the blade unit with the shaving
heads 4, clean the blade unit under running water (Chapter
"Cleaning and care" on page 45).
