11.2 FIRMWARE UPDATE VIA USB
Located on the back of the display is a USB port that is used for firmware updates .
Once the appropriate firmware has been obtained, follow these steps to update the firmware via USB .
1 . Load a USB drive (customer provided) with the appropriate files "93200001_R1-O .ABS" and
"93230001_R1-O .ABC" . The file should be saved in the root directory of the USB drive, not in any sub-folders .
2 . Turn off power to the valve controller display .
3 . Gain access to the back of the display .
4 . Remove the two screws holding the cover over the USB port, as shown below . Set the screws and
cover aside to be reinstalled after firmware update is complete .
5 . Insert the USB flash drive containing the files into the USB port on the back of the display .
6 . Turn on power to the valve controller display .
7 . The light on the USB drive (if equipped) should illuminate or flash while loading the new program file . The
update should be complete after approximately 30 seconds . Note that the light on the USB drive may or may
not turn off when the update is finished, so after 30 seconds, proceed to the next step . Both the motor driver
and the display firmware will be updated during this step .
8 . Turn off power to the valve controller display .
9 . Remove the USB flash drive from the USB port .
10 . Replace the cover on the USB port using the USB cover screws .
11 . Turn on power to the system and test all functions to ensure proper operation .
