Installation Procedure – Tank Booster & Tank Booster

(Note: The Tank Booster has a white cap and the Tank Booster Pro comes without a white cap)
 Before connecting the tee-piece and mixing valve to the water heater, it is
important to consider the alignment required to enable connection of the
tee-piece to the mixing valve with the flexible hose, and the positioning of
the mixing valve to allow easy access for adjustment. The position of the
recirculation port* also needs to be considered.
 Isolate the water entering and exiting the water heater by closing nearby
shut off valves or by draining pipe lines.
1. Apply sealing tape to the hot and cold connections on the water heat-
er. Connect the union fitting end of the valve onto the hot outlet of
the water heater, aligning as required, and then tighten.

For Tank Booster Pro, connect the
non-grooved end of the union
fitting to the hot outlet of the water
heater.
 Place a strainer seal (bulge side to-
wards heater) on the union fitting
then screw the nut onto the mixing
valve in the orientation shown.
