13. Attach inner wire end into carburetor throttle swivel hole (B).
14. Place throttle linkage in slot in bracket with one nut and washer on
each side of bracket. Finger tighten both nuts (C).
15. Secure throttle linkage and ignition leads to drive shaft with two
(2) plastic cable clips provided.
16. Check throttle for freedom of movement and that Wide Open
Throttle/Low Idle Extremes are adjusted properly. The outer
cable must be adjusted with nuts (C). Consult with your ECHO
Dealer for correct adjustment procedures.
17. Tighten nut (C) securely.
18. Connect ignition stop leads (A).
19. Install air filter and cover.
IMPORTANT
If non-standard monofilament heads, METAL/PLASTIC blades or
cultivators etc., are used, THE CARBURETOR MUST BE RESET or
serious engine damage can occur. See "Carburetor Adjustment" in
the unit Operator's Manual.
BALANCE UNIT
1. Put on harness and attach unit to harness.
2. Slide harness clamp up and down until unit balances with
head approximately 2" - 3" from the ground.
3. Tighten clamp screw.
NOTE
In case of Emergency, the trimmer/brushcutter can be released from
the harness by pulling up on the quick-release collar.
