If a drawer is placed under the hob, do not keep small objects or sheets or paper in it which, if
extracted, could break the fan and affect cooling of the appliance, or flammable or metal objects,
which could become incandescent or catch fire.
T
he countertop must be flat and horizontal. Trimming the furniture must be carried out before
installing the appliance. Eliminate chips to avoid compromising operation of electrical compo-

Considering ventilation of the hob, the following is necessary:
-if the hob is installed over a drawer, leave 40 mm distance between the drawer and the upper part
of the countertop (Fig.1).
I
f the hob is assembled behind the door of a press, operate only leaving the door open.
Close the door of the press only when the appliance and the residual heat indicator lights are off.
I
f the appliance is fitted over an oven or an electric cooker equipped with a pyrolytic system, it
should not be operated while the pyrolytic procedure is in progress, since the overheating safety
switch could activate on the hob.
T
he hob must not be installed over dishwashers, since the steam released from the dishwasher
could cause poor operation of the electronic circuit of the hob.
D
o not use any steam appliance, since the steam can reach the powered parts and cause a short
circuit.
