Connecting the Optional Humidifier

Note: Application accessories shall include a means to reduce the
propagation of fire�
Note: A bubble humidifier may be used with the simplyFLO�
Warnings
• Only use the humidifier connector tubing supplied with the
SimplyGo/simplyFLO Humidifier Connecting Tube kit (REF 1101172).
• Do not overfill humidifier.
• Do not reverse the oxygen input and output connections. Water from
the humidifier bottle will travel through the cannula back to the patient�
Note: Only connect the humidifier if prescribed�
To connect the humidifier:
1� Remove the cap from the humidifier bottle�
2. Fill the humidifier with distilled water to the level indicated by the
manufacturer�
3� Replace the cap and make sure it is tightened securely�
4� Attach the humidifier bottle adapter tube to the humidifier bottle
by turning the wing nut on the bottle counterclockwise until it is
fastened securely�
5� Place the humidifier bottle in a secure location on a level surface, or
use the simplyFLO Humidifier Bottle holder (REF 1076829).
6� Attach the oxygen tubing from the humidifier bottle assembly to the
oxygen outlet connector on the simplyFLO�
7� Attach the cannula tubing to the humidifier bottle outlet�
8� After assembly is complete, make sure the oxygen is flowing through
the cannula�
