Specific precautions

CAUTION:
The maximum voltage between any input and the ground potential is 750
V AC or 1000 V DC.
The maximum overload values are in the specifications.
Do not handle the test leads beyond the finger guard.
To avoid using the meter or test leads if damaged.
Check the isolation and Continuity asing the Continuity / Diode test function.
DO NOT USE DAMAGED TEST LEADS.
Verify that test leads connections are according to the wished measurement.
In order to measure voltages greater than 500 V rms it is recommended to
disconnect the test leads before changing the function.
When taking a current measurement disconnect the input power before connecting
the meter.
Instrument installation
Connecting to the mains supply.
To avoid damages on meter be sure that the voltage selector setting matches
with the mains power supply.
ATTENTION:
Disconnect the mains cord before manipulating the voltage selector on
rear panel.
