10. ADJUSTMENT OF LEVELS

10.1 Verifying the UC modules
Verify that the PLL plugging indicator (18) of the output frequencies of the
two processors is activated.
Verify the PLL connection of the input frequencies (12) or (17) in each
processor. The indicators must be in ON.
10.2 Levels of the UC modules
Connect a field meter covering the 950MHz to 2150MHz band to the output
connector (33) of the broadband amplifier. Ensure that the equalizer (28) is
set to 0dB and that the regulator of the output signal level (29) is at -20dB.
Check that the signal input (22) of the first module is charged with an RS-
275 resistance (code 9120011) of 75Ω .
Ensure that the output level regulators (19/21) of each UC module are at
the minimum level of attenuation. Then, use the output level regulator
(19/21) to adjust the output levels of each UC module so that the levels of
the transponders are approximately equal.
